Totem Game, 1873-1875

Totem is a simple, educational children's card game that depicts sets of animals -- birds, domestic fowl, domestic animals, and wild animals. Cards have numeric values that count toward winning the game. One card -- the lion -- trumps all others during play. Most cards also contain a simple poem, description or Bible verse that helps children learn about the animal kingdom.
